A friend of mine calls me Sunday afternoon after spending three hours in the local jail on a charge of criminal trespassing…instigated by the pastor and several of the flock of the church, described to me as this minister’s own “Trustees” created to replace the actual Trustees.

Seems that he and his fellow church Trustees want the minister of their church gone, having been concerned enough about him to have hired a private investigator to check the guy out…it appears that the pastor killed a 14-month old child who, along with his mother, moved in with this guy on September 8, 1970…the guy started abusing the baby the day AFTER the two moved in and within three weeks the baby was killed by a blow to his stomach…the guy then took the baby to the hospital allowing an automatic door to strike the baby in the head upon entering the hospital…the baby died four days later.

Here’s the Illinois Court of Appeals case form 1973.

The minister apparently has been married and divorced on at least five documented occasions…and apparently has numerous other civil/criminal charges which he failed to disclose to those in the church who hired him…but are coming to light now. Hopefully, my friend will have the charges against him dropped and this guy will be led out of town on a rail.

There’s a special place in hell for those who kill children…hopefully, he’ll end up there one of these days.

One would believe that after a February, 2010 article in the Washington Post, detailing the newly-installed Attorney General of Virginia, Ken Cuccinelli, representing an individual in Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, that Ken would have stopped the practice.

Considering that Marjorie Tharp, a spokeswoman for the National Association of Attorneys General stated in the article that Virginia, either by law or by custom, prohibits a sitting Attorney General from engaging in the private practice of law, I merely shook my head in disgust when I received a message via Facebook this morning, advising me that Ken was seen in Fairfax County JDR, again, just this past week on Motion’s Day.

The body of the entire message is contained here:

Cuccinelli made another appearance in the Fairfax Family Court this week. It was motions day in JDR and I was there with a friend. Cuccinelli entered from a back doorway of the court room. I assume it was the same area the judge entered from. His case was heard ahead of others and he was asking the court to order a man jailed for contempt. One of the lawyers not involved with the case commented that Cuccineli usually appears at only at Ex-Parte hearings.

Now, to me, if I were the opposing party, or his attorney, I’d be gravely concerned that the “chief law enforcement” officer of Virginia were asking a judge in a “private” capacity to have me jailed for contempt. It would concern me in a similar manner if I were the opposing party and discovered that opposing counsel and the judge were Facebook buddies.

A much larger question is: Why aren’t any of these bar card holders filing ethics complaints with the Virginia State Bar? Or calling Tom Jackman of the Washington Post? I know that lawyers and ethics are usually mentioned in the same sentence — or even the same paragraph, but I believe this highly-paid elected official needs to decide whether he’s going to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia, or if he’s going back to being privately-retained counsel, full time.

Like Matt Lohr, and now, Tony Wilt. The GOP apparatus in Staunton chose Mr. Bell before going to the people.

Bell is an Augusta County government school teacher.

On June 8, WHSV broadcast a story that nearly caused me to fall out of my chair. Without jumping to the story, it details Bell complaining because the government school division won’t pay him while he’s in Richmond doing what he’s getting paid $17,640/year to do (plus $135/day per diem) — be the Delegate. Unbelievably, and quite publicly, ‘ole Dickie is trying to double-dip right in front of the eyes of the electorate. Apparently, he feels the government schools should pay him about $2,000 while he’s working in his other government-paid position.

Two days later, “Dickie” was named Vice Chairman of the Board of the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, in Staunton. I spoke with Dr. Nancy Armstrong, who runs the school…she advised me that “Dickie” receives $200 for each Board meeting he chooses to attend. The Board meets quarterly.

Now, I’ve heard that “Dickie” is filing a grievance against his government school employer looking for them to cough up the $2,000 he says he’s missing.

I wonder if Delegate Bell understands the term “double dipping”? And I ain’t talking about your onion dip.
